Martha M. Euhus
OBERLIN -- Martha M. Euhus, 75, died Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2003), at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born Nov. 22, 1927, to Herman W. and Adele (Bridges) Noles in Charlotte, N.C. She was raised in Charlotte. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte.
On Aug. 15, 1953, she married H. Stuart Euhus in Charlotte. The couple moved to a farm near Oberlin and eventually moved to Oberlin. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Oberlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, H. Stuart Euhus of Oberlin; two sons, H. Kent and wife, Diana Euhus of Oberlin and Bradley and wife, Melody Euhus of Carol Stream, Ill.; two daughters, Dana and husband, Robert Morton of Garden Plain, Kan., and Gail and husband, Michael Harvey of Lamar, Colo.; two brothers, H.W. Noles of Virginia Beach, Va., and John R. and wife, Libby Noles of Cary, N.C.; three sisters, Mary E. Austin of Charlotte, Doris and husband, Frank Redd of Charlotte, and Joy Middleton of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Don White officiating. Interment is at Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation is today, 3-8 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin and Friday after 8 a.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Martha Euhus Memorial Fund.
