Rejean F. Rambo

BENKELMAN -- Rajean F. Rambo, 52, of Palisade, died Sunday (Oct. 26, 2003) at Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman.

She was born Feb. 5, 1951, to Elmer and Dorothy (Smith) Rambo in Urbana, Mo. She grew up in Urbana where she attended high school.

On Feb. 1, 1968, she married Gary Scarbrough in Buffalo, Mo. The couple came to McCook in 1979 and she has spent the remainder of her life in McCook and Palisade. Following her divorce she was remarried two more times. For six years she was a truck driver for Fritz Trucking and Whaley Trucking of Trenton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Shelton Rambo.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Wickizer and husband, Ritchie of Palisade and Traci Scarbrough and fiance, Brooke Wilkinson, of Palisade; three brothers, Shelby Rambo and wife, Dorothy of Urbana, Sanford Rambo and wife, Avis of Tipton, Mo., and Stanley Rambo and wife, Vicki of Elkland, Mo.; three sisters, Roneca Arnn, Ramona Waggoner and husband, Don, all of Buffalo, Mo., and Levirtta Rountree and husband, James of Elkland, Mo.; special friend, David Werner of Palisade; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook with Terry McCorkle officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Louisberg, Mo.

Memorials may be given in her name and left at the funeral home.
