Lillian M. Kuhlman
GOTHENBURG -- Lillian M. Kuhlman, 90, of Gothenburg, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.
She was born Nov. 14, 1912, at Cozad to Martin and Alma (Fickenscher) Block.
On April 4, 1934, she married John "Jack" Kuhlman at Christ Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. They lived on their farm north of Gothenburg where they raised four children.
She loved gardening, sewing, baking and creating wonderful memories with her children and grandchildren.
She worked as a nurse's aide at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital for many years.
She was a charter member of the Pleasant View Extension Club and the Gothenburg Gardenaires Club. She was also a member of the American Lutheran Church where she belonged to the women's circle.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Kuhlman of Brush, Colo., and Vern and wife, Sherry Kuhlman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, LoyAnn and husband, Bob Rossel of Lincoln and Connie and husband, David Davidson of McCook and their children, Lorin, Chara and Julie Howard; one brother, Arnold and wife, Marge Block of Gothenburg; one sister, Violet Henry of Callaway; and seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack on April 22, 1986; infant son, Dale; and three brothers, Walter, Clarence and Lawrence Block.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, 2 p.m., at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg.
Visitation is today, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg.
Burial will be in the American Lutheran Cemetery, northeast of Gothenburg.
