Laura E. Stuck
KEARNEY -- Laura E. Stuck, 74, died Monday (Sept. 15, 2003) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
She was born July 24, 1929, to Harry and Myrtle (Bales) Stone in McCook. She grew up in McCook and attended McCook High School.
On Sept. 27, 1946, she married Wilbert Waine Stuck in Stockville. The couple resided in Wisconsin and Arizona before returning to McCook where she helped her husband in his home remodeling business.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Stone and four sisters, Alice Conrad, Marla Thornley, Elfie Weaver and Nola Appleyard.
Survivors include her husband, Waine Stuck of McCook; four sons, Robert Stuck of McCook, Kenneth Stuck and wife, Mary of Bakersfield, Calif., Ronald Stuck and wife, Pamela of Arapahoe and Donald Stuck and wife, Niccie of Gordon; three brothers, Lloyd Stone and wife, Mary of Eldorado Springs, Mo., Roger Stone of Nevada, Mo., Larry Stone and wife, Rhonda of Hayes, Kan.; two sisters, Norma Moore and husband, Russ of Delta, Colo., and Clara Simeon of Grand Island; and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services are Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Herrmann Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Berry officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call the funeral home.
