Evelyn B. Bunnell
Evelyn B. Bunnell, 69, died Tuesday (Oct. 1, 2002) at Community Hospital of McCook.
She was born Nov. 9, 1932, in Butler County, Mo., to Gifford and Opal (Rae) Hurt. She grew up at Adrian, Mo., where she attended high school.
On April 30, 1949, she married Clinton Brown at Wauneta. They farmed at Wauneta until his death.
On Jan. 30, 1976, she married Ray Bunnell at Holdrege. They lived in McCook.
She was preceded in death by her father; both husbands, Clinton Brown and Ray Bunnell; one son, Scott Brown; step-daughter, Jeanie and husband, Kurt Steinke; step-daughter-in-law, Cathy Bunnell; and one brother Gifford Hurt, Jr. Survivors include one son, Douglas Brown and partner, John Vitaljic of Arlington, Wash.; step-children, Kathy and husband, Bill Steinke of Culbertson, Carol and husband, Larry Vlasin of McCook, Ray Bunnell, Jr. and wife, Donna of Hastings, Sharon and husband, Vic Larson of Eustis, David Bunnell and wife, Michelle of McCook, Laurie and husband, Jim Keeler of Lincoln and Don Bunnell of Frankfort, Ky.; her mother, Opal Ewing of Richill, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the Trenton Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Spearow officiating.
Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call at the funeral home.
