Early autumn nuptials unite Rouselle and Hauxwell
Tori Sue Rousselle and Joel Michael Hauxwell were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2001, at the McCook Christian Church in McCook. Pastors Clark Bates and Jason Van Pelt officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Kevin and Karma Rousselle of Culbertson, and Margie Hauxwell of McCook. Grandparents include Paul and Joylyn Ross, Leo and Betty Rousselle, all of Culbertson, Roy and Mildred Mustion of McCook, the late Mildred and Jay Hauxwell, and step-grandmother Selma Hauxwell of Arapahoe. Great-grandparents include Blanch Brown and Vesper Ross of Culbertson, and Bob and Rachel Rousselle of Huntington Beach, Calif.
The maid of honor was Monica Brown of Indianola, and the bridesmaid was Lori Hauxwell of McCook, sister of the bridegroom.
The flower girls were Kayla Hughes of McCook and Maggie Kehler of Culbertson.
The best man was Jason Hauxwell of McCook, brother of the bridegroom. The bridegroomsman was Wes Collicott of McCook, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
The ring bearer was Taye Collicott of McCook, nephew of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Travis Rousselle of Imperial and Tanner Rousselle of Longmont, Colo., brothers of the bride.
Serving as candlelighters were Kari Oberg and Austin Hyde of Culbertson, cousins of the bride.
Musical accompaniment was provided by Jean Hester of McCook, aunt of the bridegroom. Mark Hauxwell of Indianola, and Gregg Hauxwell of Omaha, cousins of the bridegroom, were the vocalists.
The guest book attendant was Heather Collicott of McCook, sister of the bridegroom. Gift attendants were Bennett, Bailey and Briana Peterson of Minden, cousins of the bridegroom.
A reception followed the service in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Myndi Manary and Sarah Frecks of Culbertson, and Angie Peterson of McCook served the cake.
After a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colo., the couple is making their home in the country northwest of Culbertson.
