Joe and Kathy Barger of Wauneta announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Courtney, to Daniel Gonzales. The bride-to-be is 1995 graduate of Wauneta-Palisade High School and a 1999 graduate of the College of Saint Mary in Omaha. She is employed as the rehabilitation manager and occupational therapist at Red Rock Care Center in Gallup, N.M. The prospective bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Gallup High School in Gallup. He is self-employed. A July 6, 2002, ceremony is planned at St. Patrick's Church in McCook.
