90th birthday

The family of Maurine E. Hofferber, a former McCook High School instructor and University of Nebraska at Kearney professor, is hosting a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday, Feb. 21. Her children are Marilyn and husband, Barry Hammond of Bowie, Md., and Jeanie and husband, Richard Hauxwell of McCook. She has seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
