Physician joins Imperial hospital

IMPERIAL -- Dr. Jeffrey P. Kasselman will begin his practice with Chase County Community Hospital on Monday.

A graduate of the Kansas University School of Medicine, Kasselman has practiced in Colby, Kan., for four years, where he was employed by Via Christi Medical Management.

Before that, he was completing his family practice residency at the university of Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. A native of Scott City, Kan., Kasselman is a family physician who performs many obstetrics-related procedures including cesarean sections, pre-cancerous procedures for abnormal pap smears and endoscopies.

He and his wife, Annette, a nurse who served in Desert Storm, have five children, Paul, 13, Samuel, 12, Katherine, 10, Suzanne, 8, and Frederick, 6.
