Bartley woman appears on felony drug charges

A Bartley woman was arraigned in Red Willow County District Court Monday on drug charges.
Adesha D. Salas, 19, was originally charged with manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a Class III felony.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge and through a plea agreement her charges were amended to attempted possession of a controlled substance, Class I misdemeanor.
She was involved in a Jan. 26, 2002 incident where a fire at 1307 East B in McCook broke out. After investigation by authorities, the findings concluded that meth was being manufactured in the home.
Her sentencing is set for Dec. 20, 2002 at 2 p.m.
