Home Show this weekend

The McCook Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its 13th annual Home and Builders Show at the the former Stage Building in Westview Plaza on Friday through Sunday.

"The Chamber is proud to carry on the tradition of being the host for this event," Chamber Director Marie Owen said about the event. "We take great pride in the quality of our show."

New this year is the choice between three different meals at the food court; Taste of Texas BBQ, Subway Sandwiches and Runza Restaurant.

There will be many booths that home owners can visit for ideas to beautify their home, including furniture, carpet, real estate, banks, video, cookware, doors, hand-made items, upholstery, landscaping and yard care, manufactured homes, gutters, siding, hot tubs, building supplies, photography and communications.

The booths will be judge and trophies will be awarded.

The show opens at 4 p.m., Friday and closes at 8 p.m. It is open Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Admission is a one time charge of $1, which Owen said is convenient for those that come in and out of the show over the course of the weekend.
