Respite Day set March 15

Friday, February 21, 2003

Families Accessing Innovative Resources is announcing its second "Respite Day" in the southwest part of our state.

If you are a caregiver of someone with a long-term or lifelong physical or psychological challenge, then you are invited to take Saturday, March 15, off.

On this day, FAIR's Respite Days program will pay for a respite provider for your loved one so you can take a break. "We have many individual providers and agencies willing to take care of your family member or you may choose your own (they must pass a background check which we will provide)," said Mary Bargen of FAIR.

To register for Respite Day simply call Mary or Melba at (308) 34-2609 or 1866-RESPITE and ask to sign up. Then look forward to a day all to yourself. You deserve it.
