Richard 'Dick' Rowe

NORTH PLATTE -- Richard "Dick" Rowe, 60, died Monday (June 30, 2003) at Omaha.

He was born March 26, 1943, at Lexington to Miles Milton and Geraldine Mae Armstrong Rowe. He graduated from Cozad High School in 1961, and later served in the U.S. Navy.

On Aug. 27, 1967, he married Kleone Schmeeckle in Cozad. He was a cattle buyer for many years and they moved to North Platte in 1992, where he was employed by the U.S. Postal Services.

Survivors include his wife, Kleone of North Platte; two brothers, Kenny Rowe and wife, Amber of Danbury and Robert Rowe of Bloomington, Ind.; a sister, Sharon and husband, Dan Seeberger of Kansas; and nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel of North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
