Osberg, Wietjes engagement

Amy Osberg and Jason Wietjes, both of Dallas, Texas, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Michael and Susanne Osberg of Grand Island and Connie and Rodney Wietjes of Gibbon. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Claire and Robert Uerling of Indianola. The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Grand Island Senior High School in Grand Island, a 2000 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law with a juris doctorate. In the fall of 2003, she plans to begin work at Jackson Walker LLP in Dallas, Texas as an associate attorney in the firms litigation section. The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Gibbon High School in Gibbon, a 2000 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry, he attended Franklin Pierce Law School's Intellectual Property Summer Institute in 2001 and graduated in 2003 at the University of Nebraska College of Law with a juris doctorate. He plans to pursue a career in patent law after taking the Federal Patent Bar exam. The couple is planning an Aug. 16, 2003, ceremony at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island.
