Samway tourney set

The Larry Samway 33rd Annual Memorial Fishing Derby will be this weekend at Hugh Butler Lake, north of McCook.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the north boat dock. Registration fees are $10 for adults (including one child) and fees for children 15 and under are $2.

The derby will begin at sun up on Saturday and run through 4 p.m., Sunday.

There will be a casting contest Sunday, 1 p.m. Participants and sponsors are invited to a free barbecue at registration headquarters at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
