MCC Boosters begin annual fund drive
The MCC Indians Boosters have begun the annual fundraising drive in support of the athletic programs at McCook Community College.
Anyone interested in helping the Boosters promote MCC through an exciting sports program are invited to send a contribution.
The MCC Indians Boosters, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1996 to support the growth and prosperity of McCook Community College through its sports programs.
Last year there were approximately 100 full-time, student-athletes attending MCC.
The Boosters provide scholarship funds to MCC for athletes, publish the media sports guides, assist with the purchase of uniforms and equipment, provide some meals for athletes when the dorm is closed, sponsor special events and promotions, and help with the renovation of the Jaycees Complex Concession stand.
All levels of contributions are accepted, and all donors are listed in the media sports guide if their contributions are received prior to press time.
The donor levels include Dream Team ($500 and above), Banner Club ($300 to $499), Varsity ($100 to $299), Junior Varsity ($50 to $99) and Team Member (up to $49).
Donors in the Dream Team and Banner Club levels also get a banner hung in True Hall Gym and receive athletic events passes to attend MCC sports events.
Donations may be mailed to MCC Indians Boosters, Inc., PO Box 936, McCook, Neb., 69001-0936.
For more information or a donor card, contact Sherri Stang or Peggy Been at McCook National Bank at (308) 345-4240.
