Return shot

McCook High School boys tennis player Brad Potthoff returns a shot during the first day of fall sports practice Monday morning at the Bsion Tennis Courts. The tennis ball behind the net was also Potthoff's shot. Don't get used to the hair, however. Brad's mother Joyce said Brad got the mop chopped. The Bison netters practiced Tuesday afternoon in 90-plus degree temperatures. Potthoff's old 'do will make its last appearance in the McCook Daily Gazette's Fall Sports section, which is scheduled to be released Thursday, Sept. 4.
