OMAHA, Neb. — Former Executive Director of Angels on Wheels, Brenda K. Banks, 61, from Omaha, Nebraska, has been sentenced to 4 months in federal prison for wire fraud. United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. handed down the sentence with no possibility of parole in the federal system. Upon release, Banks must serve 8 months on home confinement as part of a 3-year supervised release. She is also ordered to pay $83,087.01 in restitution and fined an additional $5,000.00...
