Why were the disc golf baskets removed?

Dear Editor, I have two questions for the city manager and City Council; 1. Why was the baskets removed from the Kelley Park Disc golf course? For the pandemic? I was told by a city worker it is because (though they didn’t agree) they are afraid too many hands touch the baskets. Really? A lot more hands reach into a hole to retrieve a golf ball, but they didn’t shut down the golf course...
