Bison junior wins state tennis title today!

LINCOLN, Neb. — Junior Mason Michaelis shook off a 6-0 defeat in the first and rallied past No. 1-seed Daniel Martinez Rey of Grand Island Central Catholic for 6-3, 7-5 wins that clinched the Class B No. 2 singles state championship. Michaelis, seeded second, finished a marvelous 37-3 season with his first state title. Rey suffered his first defeat as he finished at 19-1.
