As a mother of three growing kiddos, I've been known to try and save a buck here and there. If I can catch a sale or online bargain, I'm gonna do it, because keeping up on everything for three girls can be a toughy! Anyway, I came down the stairs the other night, glanced in the living room and saw everyone in my household sitting in a comatose state, eyes focused on their ipads and cell phones, while the tv blared some obnoxious nonsense. ...

Patient folder missing, Decatur Health takes security steps, works with law enforcement

OBERLIN, Kan. -- On July 25, 2016, it was discovered that a CAT scan log binder detailing patient information was not in its typical location on the Decatur Health System premises, according to DHS officials. The binder was believed to be taken from DHS premises between 5 p.m. on July 22, 2016 and 7 a.m. on July 25, 2016. The binder contains personal information, including patient name, date of birth, date of exam, diagnosis leading to the CAT scan, ordering provider, and x-ray exposure levels...
