IMPERIAL, Neb. -- The Sand Creek Massacre in Kiowa County, Colorado, in 1864 is the subject of a summer movie called "Soul of Silas," whose cast includes a 1967 graduate of Chase County High School in Imperial, Nebraska. According to the Imperial Republican newspaper, Jim Kimberling of Evergreen, Colorado, a former Imperial resident, plays the part of the Army officer who ordered the attack on an encampment of about 700 Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians...
