McCook High School junior Ben Skiles holds the flag on the seventh hole at Heritage Hills Golf Course. Skiles hit a hole-in-one on the seventh hole last Thursday, hitting a seven iron about 150 yards from the blue tees. Fellow Bison boys golf team member Mack Alspaugh witnessed the rare shot along with Leeland Shires and Kevin Atkinson. Culbertson CIP will paint ball field

CULBERTSON, Nebraska --- The Culbertson CIP held its August meeting at the Bear Cave with four members present. The group will try to locate scaffolding to paint the building at the ball field and will try to get some high school students to do the painting. Twin Valleys Public Power to upgrade load management system

CAMBRIDGE, Nebraska -- Twin Valleys Public Power District, based in Cambridge, Nebraska, has completed an agreement with Aclara to have the TWACS and Demand Response Management System (DRMS) installed beginning in 2013.
