A vicious 40-50-mile-an-hour wind blows foam back onto an Indianola firefighter trying to extinguish a brush-pile fire at the Marvin and RuthAnn Klooz farm between Indianola and McCook about 7:30 p.m., Tuesday. MAYWOOD, Nebraska -- A complicated repair process meant that some McCook Public Power District electrical customers were without power Tuesday evening during an early-spring thunderstorm accompanied by high winds and lots of lightening.
