Grabowski to play baseball at Doane

McCook High School senior Mike Grabowski signed a letter of intent Monday to play baseball at Doane College in Crete for the 2010 season. Grabowski, the son of Linda Grabowski and the grandson of Martha Grabowski of McCook, chose Doane College over McCook Community College and a school in Iowa.

McCook Public Schools could get about $906,000 in "cool" federal cash under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plan.
