Mitzi hangs out the passenger window of Brad Carlson's truck as he drives through McCook recently. Carlson, of Holbrook, said the 13-year-old Bichon "travels everywhere -- coast-to-coast, and everywhere in-between." I had a woman new to McCook area, stop at the store. Her words were not kind for the area, for she brought a half-blood wolf pup with her and the local animal doctors refused to work on anything wild so she has to go clear to North Platte for such service. Makes me glad I raise plants!...
