Hundreds of hours, stitches and pieces of fabric were used in a quilt that memorializes McCook's history. It was my privilege recently to spend a week in McCook as the judge and instructor for the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs conference. I was stunned to learn that elementary and junior high kids in McCook do not have art programs in their schools...
