The McCook Optimist Club is again sponsoring the Nebraska U.S.A. Track and Field Junior Olympic qualifying track and field meet. New media equipment available in library

A new state-of-the-art media center is up and running, available to the public at the McCook Public Library. The media center was funded by grant money from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Nebraska Library Commission. Local support came from the McCook Library Foundation with help from Dr. Paul St-Aubin, Top Office, Eakes Office Plus and the McCook Daily Gazette.
