School: McCook did well despite 'watch list' status

Oh No!! I was so looking forward to seeing the Bison play at Memorial stadium again this weekend, and against my hometown Beatrice Orangemen to boot! Alas, it was not to be for either team but my hat is off to the football program at MHS. 61-3 over five years -- phenomenal! These young athletes and their coaches have everything to be proud of...

The children of Barrnett and LoLa Leitner are hosting a card shower in honor of the couple's 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 17, 1946.
