Helicopter crash

McCook city firefighters spray down an experimental helicopter prototype after it crashed about 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at the McCook Regional Airport. Two people were taken by ambulance to Community Hospital in McCook, but they were not believed to have serious injuries. According to witnesses, the helicopter was hovering near the airport when the crash occurred. The craft is owned by Pawnee Aviation of McCook, which plans to offer kits of the helicopter to homebuilders...
