OMAHA -- A McCook company has been fined and placed on probation following a conviction in U.S. District Court for violating federal export licensing requirements. On Sept. 7, the Honorable Richard Kopf ordered Springer Magrath Co., in the 400 block of West B, to pay a fine of $50,000, complete three years probation and pay a $400 special assessment for exporting electric cattle prods to South Africa without first having obtained a license required by federal law... -
