Bostwick irrigators did the right thing
(Editorial ~ 03/16/06)
Bostwick Irrigation District members know a good deal when they see it. And, the rest of us along the Republican River Valley should be grateful. The last time Bostwick irrigators got any water was 2003, and then it was only 6.2 inches per acre. Ultimate male multi-tasker
(Column ~ 03/16/06)
Brad is back to countdown again. A few days ago, he told a friend it was only two more weeks before we could get the boat out in the water. I don't think he should rush it any. After all, a boat only has two good fishing trips in it before it breaks down and spends the rest of the summer sitting in a boat yard waiting to be repaired...

Fun in the sun (Local News ~ 03/16/06)
A bunch of Atwood kids climbed on -- and fell off -- the swing set in the Atwood park in the bright sunshine Wednesday afternoon. The shorts-and-short-sleeve weather might not last very long as forecasters call for snow and rain this weekend. Taking a tumble out of the tire swing is 10-year-old Shaelyn Schadel. ...
