COZAD -- Saturday the McCook varsity and junior varsity wrestling teams competed at the Cozad Invitational. The McCook varsity scored 23 points. The varsity team was led by Sam Frazier, who placed third at 189 pounds. Her dad and the sheriff's deputy agree -- 20-year-old Jessica Hall of McCook could have been hurt terribly if she had not been wearing her seat belt when she lost control of her car on packed snow and rock-hard ruts of ice Sunday evening.
