**Dear Editor, I enjoyed reading Walt Sehnert's column on Audie Murphy. Here in Farmersville, Texas, we celebrate his birthday each year. We claim Audie Murphy as our hometown hero, since Audie claimed Farmersville as his hometown. On Audie Murphy Day, June 20, we honor our area veterans with a parade through the town square and a ceremony at the city park.
