An American experience

Last year Daryl Bonow and I traveled to the annual July 1st celebration held at Memorial Park in Omaha to hear two truly great bands from our past; Three Dog Night and The Doobie Brothers. As reported in this column, thirty minutes before the show was to begin a violent thunderstorm rolled across the park, delivering torrential rain, hail, and intense lightning that struck at least one person in attendance. ...
