A wartime bride

I had an email from my "kid" sister this morning. (Kid being a relative term, she was born in 1962.) She got married on the Fourth of July, with some 15,000 people in attendance. (The wedding was on the River Walk in San Antonio, Texas.) It's her second marriage and all three of her children attended her during the ceremony with her daughter serving as the maid of honor. Her sons escorted her to her new husband and then served him as best men...
