There are way too many laws

One of the real paradoxes in this country is the tension between law and freedom. It's paradoxical because in a land founded on the concept of freedom, we have more laws prohibiting more behaviors than any other country in the world. The scholars call this "limited freedom" and attempt to make the case that the more free a society is, the more laws we have to have because being free leads some people to make bad choices and those people must be protected from themselves...

Moreau seen with three men the night he died

The investigation into the death of Moreau is continuing. His body was found early Sunday morning in the parking lot at the McCook Housing Agency. An autopsy report showed he died of blunt force trauma to the head. According to witnesses, Moreau was seen at LaCocina Restaurant between 12:30 and 1 a.m. ...
