It occurs to me that perhaps we've been going about this issue backwards. We have put the very best of minds to task on the issue, government leaders, religious leaders, even the man on street. We have searched the written word of God to discover the definitive answer, and we have exhausted every scientific tool at our disposal to answer the question, "When does life begin?"...

McCook homeowners and Red Willow County taxpayers are getting the car race noise shoved down their throat by the Red Willow County Commissioners, the Fair Board and City Council members. Does anybody remember Red Willow County or city officials requesting public input before allowing expansion of the track size for 50 percent more increased noise, then increasing race dates from six nights to 12, and now up to 20 race nights, including some three-day weekends for this summer in McCook. ...
