Ice Is Possible
Our current vehicle is a Chevy. There are some features that I love. I suppose I could write a fan letter to the engineers who designed the features, the execs who okayed the features and the assembly line workers that built the car. That would require too much work. Next best thing is to blog about it.
The first feature I love is the outside temperature feature. It is nice to be able to have the accurate temperature. My car even tells me to be careful if the outside temperature is 32 degrees or less. It tells me "Ice is possible."
Having grown up in wintery country and having driven miles and miles without a vehicle temperature gauge, I just have to say this is a brilliant. I don't have to guess the temperature and I don't have to guess about when the precipitation will turn to nasty ice because you can pay attention to the temperature and know for certain.
I also love the switches on the steering wheel that allow me to turn the radio volume up or down without taking my hand off the wheel. This is a safety feature but I use it to annoy my husband. If Hubby goes to turn up the volume, I will turn the volume down. Yes, that is ornery but it is the little things that make the road trips exciting. Plus there are only so many sporting events or AM stations that I will listen to on any given trip.
Another other feature is the remote start. I love, love, love that feature. The car is either warm or cool when I get into it depending on the time of year. Plus when I (cough) forget exactly where I parked when I come out of the mall or store, I can use the remote to locate the vehicle.
I do like the mpg (miles per gallon) and I do like how easy it is to get in and out of the vehicle. However, I have to say the reason we purchased the vehicle was how easy it was to get in and out of the driver's seat. Most people buy for brand loyalty, color, price but we dare to be different.
Thanks for the sweet ride Chevy!
