Grains of Sand
The title really doesn't 'speak' to the content. I had tried over the last several days to come up with something meaningful, at least to me. Probably a case of blogger's block as it were.
Saying prayers for those folks in the Pacific region so greatly affected by the massive earthquake and tsunami. They are having a nuclear crisis as well. I cannot even fathom. What I will say is that with all the video of the disaster, scientists will be studying and reporting on this for years to come. The fact there were so many survivors is utterly amazing. They may only be able to estimate the souls that were lost.
Charlie Sheen is a doofus. It is too bad that he didn't realize he was part of an ensemble cast and the show is about the ensemble and not him specifically. Can anyone say "too big for his britches"? I am hoping the executive producers have the character Rose spirit (haa haa) Charlie away to some enchanted love nest. Quite honestly they could pull off that as a gag for awhile and then give them time to recast or introduce a long lost brother or cousin to add to the ensemble. I would vote for John Stamos but again, no one asks me.
Kudos to Jon Cryer and his "I am a Troll" bit he did on Conan's show. It was funny stuff.
Martha Stewart announced her daughter had a baby. But alas, Martha will not be called "Grandma" according to news reports. What is up with that? There probably is some foo-foo term from grandmamma that she could wrap up in ribbons and bows for her grandbaby. The rest of us could call her Martha but only one person can call her 'Grandmother.'
Daylight saving time arrived. Ughhh. Don't get me wrong, I love the extra light in the evenings but getting adjusted to the earlier mornings is not a pleasant thing for me. That one less hour seems to mess with me. Falling back to Standard Time seems so much more pleasant.
Time to take a nap. LOL
