Take it to the Convention
I am NOT a democrat. However, if I lived in Michigan or Florida , and was a democrat, AND my vote only counted for ½ or what ever "compromise" was set up, I would buy a HILLARY TAKE IT TO THE CONVENTION t-shirt and yard sign.
You know I am wondering out loud if there was a different candidate and a different gender if there would have been a different outcome to their "big" meeting.
And why can't the states set their OWN elections and caucuses and why does a national committee of one party get to control when the states have their primaries or caucuses? I can see a party setting their convention dates but good gravy why can't the states set their own dates to participate in the process. It sounds like the "big" boys in control get to set the all rules.
Hmmmm - I would speculate in a couple of generations, students will be studying this campaign in their history and political science classes.
I will say - I would vote for Hillary before I would vote for John but I would vote for John before Barack.
I did get a poll call - one of those automated ones - asking if I would vote for John McCain and then John McCain with three different possible running mates and then the same was for Barack Obama and his potential running mates. This was two weeks ago. There wasn't even a Hillary question in the group. Found that to be interesting.
I have known my vote actually doesn't count anyway because apparently I don't live in an politically important state but I still vote so I have the right to "comment".
Let the democrats duke it out in Denver. That might just make for some interesting reality based prime time TV.
