Surrender to Freedom
Surrender to Freedom
By Arley Steinhour 072618
The Path I Follow, has shortened some,
Before I hear Jesus say, ‘Up to me, Come,’
‘Since Rebirth, you’ve served me Well,
You’ll never experience Second Death, nor Hell.’
Don’t misunderstand, My Sin-Bag held much,
His Purchase Price Prepaid, freed me from Sin’s Clutch,
With Him, He hung it upon the ‘Cross of Redemption,’
Eternally Freeing me of Sin, without Exemption.
My Mortal years are Trimmed, to soon Set me Free,
The Cancer I own, has a unique character, like me,
It’s running a race with my lungs, thinking it Wins,
Not knowing ‘I’ll Graduate Home,’ Free of my Sins.’
Perhaps, if He Wills, I’ll continue my Calling,
Poetically Praising God/Jesus, not even Stalling,
Part of poetic choir, Before Him, on the Throne,
Or, on occasion, be called on to recite, all alone.
‘Prep-School/Mortality,’ gives little time alive,
Most between Birth, and Years, Ninety-Five,
We need to Choose Eternal Life, to Have and Hold,
‘Joy with God/Jesus,’ or ‘Lake of Flames,’ we’re Told.
I recommend Jesus; you must make your Choice,
‘Surrender to Freedom,’ or ‘Continue Sinful Vice,’
Where all is filled with Joy, or filled with Torment,
At a ‘Family of God Advent,’ or, ‘Hell-Fire-Ferment.’
Seven Years of Tribulation follows the ‘Rescue,
Of the Reborn’ in Christ-Jesus, Emmanuel-True,
‘Left-Behind’ Suffer Greatly, many take the ‘Beast’s Mark,’
To Buy and Sell (Unforgiveable), going to Hell-Quite-Stark.
AMEN
