In Your Fluorescence
In Your Fluorescence
By Arley Steinhour 072018
I hobbled to my trusty keyboard,
To spend with You, Time in Praise,
That my Worship to you be Poured,
In these Wee Hours my voice I raise.
My Mortal Days are Numbered,
My Discipleship Ends my Race,
By Grace I come, Unencumbered,
Before the Throne, to show my face.
Redemption, and Rebirth in You,
The Only God with that Power,
Takes one like me, worthy to Sue,
To Hell, yet Blessings you Shower.
Mortality, and Sin are Left Behind,
Unqualified to be in Your Presence,
I’ll be Young, Healthy, and Refined,
Pure of Being, ‘In Your Fluorescence.’
May my Time left in Mortality,
Be ‘Casting Your Net, on Right Side,
To Prove my Value and Vitality,
That my Burdon opens Eyes Wide.
Often, Mortality’s Cut-Short for a Reason,
But, when we seek the Bright Side, We Win,
When, we Revel in Self-Pity, we offer Treason,
Against our Trust and Your Will being Linchpin.
To Any and All, who have yet to Choose,
We All Spend Eternity in ‘Joy or Excrement,’
As, ‘Heads, We Win, Tails, you Lose,’
God/Jesus is Joy, Lake of Flame is Torment.
AMEN
