Redeemed on the Stake
Redeemed on the Stake
By Arley Steinhour 070518
Many Rockets filled the Air,
Closing, Independence Day Fare,
Sprays of Beauty, for all to Share,
With Freedom Lovers, Everywhere.
In this year, Two Thousand Eighteen,
Recovering from a Time of Despair,
Perhaps, the worst we’ve ever Seen,
As our ‘Greatness Returns, to Share.
Come NOT, for Welfare, to Restart,
Come to America, to do your Part,
Again, let the ‘Horse, Pull the Cart,’
That ‘Pride of Choice,’ fills the heart.
Stand with the Forefathers, Proud and Free,
As Equal Opportunity Grows a ‘Citizen Tree,’
Without the theft by an ‘Unbent Knee,’
‘Thanking our God, without Contrite Plea.
We have the chance, before the Time,
When Church/Bride is Rescued, unto Sublime,
For Eternal Abode, Safe from Man’s Crime,
Known as ‘Sin;’ containing all Mortal Grime.
Our Six Thousand years, have now Expired,
Soon the Clock Stops, Eternally-Retired,
For those who Refuse, they’ll not be Attired,
‘With Crown of Gold, Sandals, or Robe,’ as Required.
The ‘Choice we’ve been given that we must make,
Determines our Eternity for our Soul’s Sake,
‘Grace-Justification,’ keeps us from Flaming Lake,
To be Family of God/Jesus; “Redeemed on the Stake.”
AMEN
