Memorial Day Pride

Ever Watchful on the Skies,
It helps to have the Eagles Eyes;
Danger Threatens Freedoms Song,
God/Jesus will ‘Quell this Wrong.’

Memorial Day Pride

I’m proud of those who say their proud,
To salute our fallen troops;
I’m proud of those who say their proud,
To honor all who wore those boots.

Our pride is in our Free way of life,
Purchased with the blood of Vet’s;
Blood spilt in many foreign lands,
To Pay these Freedom Debts.

It don’t take long to say a prayer,
For them who suffer Mortal Loss;
Sort of like our Eternal life,
That was purchased at the Cross;

His death, their death, pay the price,
If we remember, there is no Loss.
And those who do not think so,
Are what our God See’s as ‘Dross.’

If man don’t love their children,
And doesn’t love their wife;
Chances are there is no joy,
Or thanksgiving, in their life.

FoR them, I must feel sorry,
But say this very LOUD;
I think I’d rather fellowship,
With those who say their ‘PROUD!’
