Equal to Esoteric
Equal to Esoteric

A.L.M. (American Lives Matter),
I believe, I’ll address today,
Among all the B.L.M. Chatter,
Prejudicial, a ‘Whole New Way.’
How many years has Slavery been,
Around, in this world, till Today?
‘Lot,’ was enslaved, Way-Back-When.’
Slavery’s is still Active, unto this Day.
America, is the Target of discussion,
Way back when, Slavery was Vogue,
Until Lincoln, claimed his Intermission,
And, Democratic South called him ‘Rogue.’
However, the Citizens, dressed in Blue,
Prevailed, to set the Black Man Free,
On the Premise, the Black would be ‘True,’
To this U.S.A. leading to ‘you and me.’
Remember, please, the circumstance,
Of how this Nation, began to be,
‘We the People,’ through Social Advance,
Would become, the ‘Nation of Equality.’
The Road’s been Tough, and very Rough,
But, Hatreds have fed, into the ‘Last Generation,’
That, in this Time of Need, we’ve learned Enough,
That, we know that we must, all, Support our Nation.
Most, came to live, in this New-Land, of America,
Mostly, Destitute, or Servant, plus them being ‘Slave,’
But the Civil War, opened the Gate as ‘Equal to Esoteric,’
With, Slave having the ‘Long Hoe, unto the ‘American Enclave.”
Eighty-Five years, or so, it took to close the ‘Civil Gap of Pain,’
By the End of World War TWO, the “Equality’ Gate was Open,’
Then came the Protests, giving Black and White, a ‘Stain,’
Equality was ‘Bypassed,’ with Demands, of ‘Justice quite Swollen.’
Without calling names, nor speaking a claim of ‘Wrong-Seeing,’
I will Shy from a Diatribe, with only one Question on my Mind,
Blacks, came to America, as Slave, and ‘Now Have Their Freeing,’
“Where would you have been, if not for Slavery, to Save your Kind???”
My words may be a bit harsh, but please PONDER, the Equation,
‘Anglo’s,’ most came for their Freedom, that your People never knew,
Any kind of freedom, much more than, A Wild animal, you they’ve eaten,
Living a life in a Tribe, Dying Dead, by Forty-Five; beyond that, very Few.
‘Lot, a Slave,’ taken in battle, Joseph, Sold, by ‘Eleven of Brother,’
Onesimus, of 'Philemon,' a slave, became Saint Paul’s little ‘Brother,’
Throughout the Good-Book, be examples of Slaves, placed unto ‘Brother,’
I’ve served with Many, over, with, and under, calling them all “my Brother.”
(What do you Stand On?? ‘I Stand on God/Jesus’).
AMEN
