Run Aground
Run Aground
By Arley Steinhour 092617
Dear Father God, I come to you,
Having, no other place I can go,
Rejected by many of the ‘True,’
Who, don’t believe what I ‘Know.’
You lifted much of the Veil,
That covered, my Mind and Eyes,
Knowledge, Releasing both from Jail,
Giving understanding, to my surprise.
Your Word makes more Sense,
Your Truth, Cuts a Clear Trail,
Cleaning Clouded Commonsense,
As You Make my Ignorance Pale.
I may now know the Day,
But, don’t know the Hour, (Mat 24:37-46
Especially the Godly Stay,
‘You’ll Give Blessing Shower.’
Satan, has worked his Charm,
To make any who Watch, Condemned, (Mat 12:7
As, Setters of ‘Day and Hour Alarm,’
Even, when we mention a ‘Trend.’ (Mat 16:23
Your Word is Clear, my heart is Clean,
Your Justification, has opened my Eyes,
Forgive me, Please, if I’m sounding Mean,
Depth of ‘Laodicean,’ has taken me by Surprise.
I Pray, Dear God/Jesus, to sound the Alarm,
My Trumpet, bent and twisted, has no Sound,
My rejection, is nothing, to what did you Harm, (Mar 12:10
But, You are God, and I’ve ‘Run Aground.’
I cast my last Anchor, to ‘Weather the Storm,’ (Act 27:27-37
My Brothers and Sisters, ‘Refused my Call,’
For Understanding, and keeping me Warm,
I lay on the Beachhead, ‘Devoid of a Pall.’
New, Brothers and Sisters, come to my Aid, (Luk 17:16
As they that I Trusted in, rejected my condition,
My Pain is Relieved, and Doubts Start to Fade,
Just Knowing You’re with me, unto Fruition.
My Strength is Returning,
I’m still in the Race. (Luk 10:30-37
You’ve Refreshed my Learning,
As I follow your Humble Pace.
To them, that Reject me,
I have little I can Say,
Except, “In Jesus, I’m Free;
See you on Judgment Day.”
You Twisted my word,
As if, it be a ‘Must,’
That, I not be heard,
From Feet, ‘I shake Dust.’ (Mat 10:14
