Happy in Plight
Happy in Plight
By Arley Steinhour 082617
From a Vintage Lens,
Comes, Crisp, New Life,
And, from a 'Pens,'
Description of Strife.
As we kneel before our Savior,
May a Crown Fulfill our Pact,
May Application and Behavior,
Be Seen as Fact, not Abstract.
Living within our heart of stone,
There He 'Stays,' we're not alone,
God/Jesus was Born, a Mortal Man,
Indwelt by God, with Eternal Plan.
‘Redemption of the Human Race,’
If man Accepts the Price He Paid;
By those, who'd keep the Holy Pace,
His 'Ace Card,' on Satan, is 'Played.'
'Ka-Ching' only rings the price to pay,
To a total, of what one does Owe,
Reception of Money, has a Way,
Of being returned, as over-flow.
Reward, we called it, Value back,
To Make Transaction Right,
Purchase and Change the 'Tack,'
As, Parties are ‘Happy in Plight.’
Though, Net May Strain,
It will never fail,
So long as we're 'Twain,'
Jesus Fills our Sail.
AMEN
