I Tried to Mow the Lawn that day,
But, Jesus Called, and ‘I Flew Away.’
I Left Behind, some ‘Friends and Neighbors,’
But, they may catch up, through ‘Tribulation Labors.’

I expect your Protection,
To be Ever-Flowing,
Over me, for Correction,
That I be Better-Knowing.

Your Spirit, is Guiding,
Each Step of my Way,
To keep me from Sliding,
Backward, and Away.

With Focus Upon You,
I Follow your Step,
And, when Day is Through,
We’ve prevented a Misstep.

Making improvement,
One Day at a time,
With Upward Movement,
That, You and I Rhyme.

Harmony of Following,
Great Joy, in my Heart,
Less and Less Wallowing,
So that Satan must Depart.

Discipleship the Answer,
For Treasure in Heaven,
With Jesus, my Anchor,
Gold and Gem’s without Leaven.

To, ‘Any and All,’ that’s Reading,
I offer this Sound Advice,
‘Get Right with ‘Jesus’ Entreating,’
For, ‘Redemption, at Market-Price.’

Soon, He will Come, for Church/Bride,
To Rescue from ‘Tribulation Pain,’
At the time when no one can Hide,
Before ‘His Wrath,’ that Falls Like Rain.
