Messiah on Wing
Messiah on Wing
By Arley Steinhour 060717
Seldom have I seen a day,
When people didn’t want money,
Demanding they have it their Way,
All of my ‘Milk and Honey.
So many starving, all over the Land,
Orphan children the most in need,
To play on heartstrings, by skilled hand,
Using guilt so the Orphans have feed.
I work here in my electric Chair,
To do the Praise work I do,
P C and me, and finger Flair,
Writing Praises to Jesus, and you.
Four weeks of Seven, to Yom Teruah,
Rosh Hashanah, to the Greek,
Feast of Great Noise, Shofar, to ‘Ya,’
One Hundred calls to the Meek.
They’ll come to the Gathering,
They’ll come to the Temple,
They’ll come, Prayers Blathering,
With voices that will Tremble.
The time, in between,
Today, and when we sing,
On the Day, not foreseen,
May find, Messiah on Wing.
Watch for that day, of Wonder,
For a sign, that rents the heart,
Bridegroom, coming like Thunder,
The Bride, From Mortality Depart.
AMEN
